Garment & Textile Manufacturing
Arannya Textiles runs three knitting and finishing sheds in Konabari on a high-demand industrial tariff, with compressors, chillers, and lighting driving peak loads through the working day. Rising grid tariffs and demand charges were squeezing margins on export orders, and the finance team wanted a way to hedge future tariff hikes without touching production uptime. The factory's flat, largely unshaded rooftops across the three sheds were sitting unused.
CZ Engineering carried out a full structural and shading survey across the three rooftops, then designed and installed an 850 kWp grid-tied system split across multiple string inverters to match each shed's load profile. The system was commissioned under a net metering arrangement with the local DESCO connection, with production monitoring dashboards installed in the facilities manager's office so daytime generation could be tracked against shift-level consumption.
